Academy Information

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE

At The West Park Academy we pride ourselves on offering a range of opportunities for our children. We strongly believe that busy children are happy children and opportunities for children to learn should not be missed throughout the academy day.

Here is a breakdown of everything we offer at our academy.

Breakfast and After School Care Provision

Our Breakfast Club is led by Miss Allen and Mrs Summers and is available daily from 7.45am at a cost of £1.50 per day. Children have a choice of breakfast including choice of cereal, toast and cheese muffins. The children can have a drink of milk or juice. There are a range of activities on offer including board games, drawing and colouring.

We also offer after school childcare, again run by Miss Allen and Mrs Summers. The children can attend this provision until 4:15 at a cost of £3.50 or until 5:30 at a cost of £7.00 per day. For this, they are invited to take part in a range of activities which are carefully planned and resourced by the staff as well as snacks and drinks to keep hunger pangs away until tea time.

Both Breakfast Club and After School Care can be booked online through the School Money payment system. So that we know numbers for staffing, we do ask that you book in advance although if you need the place on the day, if we have space, we will be happy to accommodate you.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

Here at The West Park Academy, we offer an inclusive extra-curricular programme, which is broad and balanced. We offer a variety of clubs to our children that let them challenge and enjoy themselves in a physical and creative manner. These clubs compliment and extend our Physical Education curriculum and our competitive school sport provision. This ensures that all our children can develop a holistic skill-set during their time with us alongside developing a deep-rooted passion for; academical, physical and creative learning that they can take forward throughout their journey in education.
